Candid-B Lotion is used to treat fungal skin infections that are accompanied by inflammation, redness, and irritation, such as ringworm, jock itch, athlete's foot, and candidiasis.
It combines clotrimazole, an antifungal that stops fungal growth, with beclomethasone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Use it for the full duration advised, even if your skin appears to have cleared, to help prevent the infection returning.
Keep the affected skin clean and dry, particularly in moist areas such as skin folds and the groin, and wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce sweating and friction, which can encourage fungal growth.
Before using this lotion, tell your doctor about any pre-existing skin conditions, allergies, or other medicines you are using on the skin. If irritation worsens or you notice a severe reaction, stop using the lotion and consult your doctor.
