CompositionTriben-B 0.025/1% Lotion is used to treat fungal skin infections that also have inflammation, such as ringworm, athlete's foot and jock itch, clearing the infection while easing the redness, swelling and intense itching. It contains clotrimazole, an antifungal that clears the fungus, and beclometasone, a mild corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching.
This medicine works by combining the antifungal action of clotrimazole with the anti-inflammatory effect of beclometasone, addressing both the underlying fungal infection and the accompanying skin irritation together.
Apply it to the affected area as directed, and continue it for the full course, even if the skin looks better early, to prevent the infection returning.
Because it contains a steroid, use it only for the period prescribed, as prolonged use can thin the skin or lighten its colour. Report worsening irritation or spreading infection to your doctor.
