• Rifampicin: Rifampicin, an antibiotic used to treat tuberculosis, is a potent enzyme inducer that may increase the metabolism of Brevipil 50 mg tablet, leading to reduced blood levels and potential loss of efficacy.
• Buprenorphine and Propoxyphene: Buprenorphine and propoxyphene are opioids that may enhance the sedative effects of Brevipil 50 mg tablets, leading to increased drowsiness and respiratory depression.
• Ketamine: Ketamine are anaesthetics that may enhance the CNS depressant effects of Brevipil 50 mg tablet, leading to increased sedation and impaired cognitive function.
• Sodium Oxybate: Sodium oxybate, a central nervous system depressant that treats narcolepsy, may enhance the sedative effects of Brevipil 50 mg tablet, leading to increased drowsiness and impaired cognitive function.

• Alcohol: Both Brevipil 50 mg tablets and alcohol can cause central nervous system (CNS) depression, which may lead to increased sedation and impairment of cognitive function.

Brevipil 50 mg tablet can interact with diseases, including-

• Allergy: Individuals with hypersensitivity or allergy to Brivaracetam or any of its components should not use the Brevipil 50 mg tablet.
• Notifying your doctor about any known allergies before starting a Brevipil 50 mg tablet is essential. If you suffer from any symptoms of an allergic reaction, like rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
• Liver Impairment: Brevipil 50 mg tablet is primarily metabolised in the liver. Patients with liver impairment may experience reduced medication clearance, leading to higher blood levels and an increased risk of adverse effects.
• Kidney Impairment: Brevipil 50 mg tablet is eliminated from the body primarily through the kidneys. Patients with kidney impairment may have reduced elimination of the medication, resulting in higher blood levels and an increased risk of adverse effects.
• Suicidal Tendency: There have been reports of an increased likelihood of suicidal thoughts in patients using antiepileptic drugs, including Brevipil 50 mg tablet.

The recommended dose of Brevipil 50 mg tablet is once daily, with food, as directed by your doctor.
