Brevipil 25 Tablet is used in the following conditions:

• Reducing frequency and severity of partial-onset seizures: This condition involves only one part of the brain and can cause various symptoms like uncontrollable muscle contractions.

• Assisting in the management of epilepsy: This chronic disorder leads to recurrent seizures, affecting people of all ages.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• The medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Strictly follow the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor.

• Avoid sudden discontinuation of this medicine; consult your doctor for a proper withdrawal plan if necessary.

Brevipil 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Brevipil 25 Tablet consists of brivaracetam (25 mg), which works as follows:

• Binds SV2A Proteins: Brivaracetam works by attaching itself to specific sites in your brain known as SV2A proteins.

• Reduces Nerve Activity: By binding to these proteins, brivaracetam effectively decreases excessive and abnormal nerve activity that leads to seizures.

• Stabilises Brain Activity: This reduction of abnormal electrical impulses, in turn, helps stabilise the disturbance in brain activity and manage seizures.

• Store Brevipil 25 Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, maintaining it well-protected from moisture.

• Limiting alcohol intake can be beneficial as alcohol may enhance the side effects of Brevipil 25 Tablet, such as drowsiness and lack of coordination.
