Brevipil 75 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing partial-onset seizures in adults.

• Controlling seizures in individuals with epilepsy.

• Employed as an additional medication when other anti-epileptic medicines fail to control seizures adequately.

• Use in adults, children, and infants aged 1 month and above for seizure management.

Brevipil 75 Tablet should be taken as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet because of its bitter taste.

• Do not suddenly stop taking Brevipil 75 Tablet without consulting your doctor first.

Brevipil 75 Tablet is taken orally.

Brevipil 75 Tablet contains one active ingredient: Brivaracetam (75 mg). Here's how it works:

• Synaptic Vesicle Protein 2A (SV2A) Binding: Brivaracetam binds to SV2A, a protein in your brain. SV2A plays a key role in regulating the release of neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that transmit signals in the brain.

• Decreases Abnormal Electrical Activity: By binding to SV2A, Brivaracetam reduces abnormal electrical activity in the brain. This abnormal activity often leads to seizures.
