Britzilam 50 Tablet is an anti-epileptic medicine used to treat partial-onset seizures, with or without secondary generalisation, in adults and adolescents with epilepsy. It helps reduce the frequency of seizures by regulating nerve cell activity in the brain.
It contains brivaracetam. Take it with or without food as prescribed, at the same time each day for consistent control. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly, as stopping suddenly can trigger rebound seizures. Any change in dose must be made under medical supervision.
Adhering to a steady sleep schedule, managing daily stress, and avoiding alcohol support seizure control while taking this medicine. Avoid activities requiring alertness until you know how the medicine affects you.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, liver impairment, or a history of depression. Report any sudden mood changes, agitation, or suicidal thoughts to your doctor immediately. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
