CompositionBilaford-M Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of long-lasting allergies such as hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and chronic hives, easing sneezing, a blocked or runny nose, itchy watery eyes and skin wheals.
It contains bilastine, an antihistamine that calms the allergic response, and montelukast, which reduces inflammation in the airways.
Take it once a day as prescribed, ideally on an empty stomach (an hour before or two hours after food) to help the bilastine absorb, and avoid taking it with fruit juice.
Tell your doctor about any mental health concerns before use, as montelukast can occasionally cause mood or behaviour changes. Report new agitation, low mood, sleep problems or unusual thoughts.
