Bilaford M Tablet 10

Bilaford-M Tablet is used to provide relief from seasonal hay fever and allergic rhinitis. It targets the chemicals that cause allergy symptoms, effectively stopping sneezing, nasal congestion, and itchy or watery eyes. By reducing inflammation in the nasal passages, it helps allergy sufferers maintain comfort during high-pollen seasons.

Use the Bilaford-M Tablet by keeping a few things in mind:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.
• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.
• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.
• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Bilaford-M Tablet is taken orally.

Bilaford-M Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Bilastine (20 mg): This non-sedating H1 antihistamine connects to histamine H1 receptors in your body. It blocks the allergic reactions caused by histamine like itching, sneezing, runny nose and hives.
• Montelukast (10 mg): As a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist, montelukast binds to the CysLT1 receptor which inhibits cysteinyl leukotrienes. These leukotrienes cause inflammation in the airways leading to symptoms like wheezing and breathlessness. By blocking them, montelukast reduces inflammation.

The combination of these two components enhances relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria compared to either component used individually. Bilastine provides quick relief from symptoms while montelukast has prolonged action.

• Keep Bilaford-M Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at 25°C, with occasional excursions permitted between 15° and 30°C.
• Shield the medicine from moisture.
• Always ensure it is out of reach of children.
• Make sure to use the tablet before its expiry date.

• During the pollen season or when allergies tend to flare up, try to stay indoors as much as you can. This can help manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.
• Drink plenty of water. It helps to keep your body hydrated and reduces the chances of experiencing a dry mouth - a possible side effect of Bilaford-M Tablet.
