Bempesta Tablet is used for the following:

• Lowering LDL cholesterol levels: In adults with primary hyperlipidemia, including those with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

• Reducing the risk of heart disease: In adults who cannot take recommended statin therapy and have established cardiovascular disease

• Helping prevent myocardial infarction: Heart attack in adults at high risk but without established cardiovascular disease

• Decreasing chances of coronary revascularization: Procedures to restore blood flow to the heart in adults unable to take statin therapy

Here's how you should take Bempesta Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Remember it's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first, even if you feel well.

Bempesta Tablet is taken orally.

Bempesta Tablet contains Bempedoic Acid (180 mg) and works in the following ways:

• Reduces Cholesterol Production: Bempedoic acid inhibits an enzyme in the liver responsible for making cholesterol, which effectively reduces the level of "bad" LDL cholesterol in the blood.

• Lowers Risk of Heart Disease: By reducing the LDL cholesterol levels, it decreases the risk of developing heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes.

• Keep Bempesta Tablet in its original container.

• Store at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Protect from excessive light and moisture to preserve its effectiveness.

• Place it out of reach of children to prevent accidental consumption.

• Use Bempesta Tablet before the expiry date printed on the pack.
