Brillo Tablet is used to lower high LDL cholesterol in adults, particularly those with heart disease or at high risk, when other cholesterol-lowering medicines are not enough or not tolerated.
It contains bempedoic acid, which works in the liver to reduce the cholesterol the body makes, lowering harmful LDL cholesterol.
Take it with or without food at the same time each day as prescribed, alongside a heart-healthy diet.
Tell your doctor about any gout, kidney or liver problems, or a history of muscle problems, before use. It can raise uric acid and, rarely, cause tendon problems; report tendon pain or swelling, or unexplained muscle pain. It is not suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
