Testoviron Depot 250 Injection is used in men with hypogonadism to replace testosterone that the body cannot produce naturally, restoring energy levels, muscle mass, bone density, and sexual function. It may also be used in selected adolescent males with delayed puberty when clinically indicated.
It contains testosterone enanthate 250 mg, a long-acting ester. It is given as a deep intramuscular injection by a healthcare professional at intervals determined by hormone monitoring. Injection frequency is tailored individually based on blood testosterone levels.
Regular blood tests to monitor testosterone levels, haematocrit, liver function, and prostate health are important throughout treatment. Attending all monitoring appointments supports safe long-term therapy.
Before receiving this injection, tell your healthcare team about any history of prostate cancer, breast cancer (in men), severe kidney or liver disease, high blood pressure, or heart problems. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid handling this medicine unless appropriate precautions are taken.
