• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking, crushing, or chewing it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• If you're taking antacids that contain aluminium or magnesium, ensure you take Azibact 250 Tablet at least one hour before or two hours after them.

• Always remember to complete the full course prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve earlier. This helps to fully eradicate the infection.

Azibact 250 Tablet is taken orally.

Azibact 250 Tablet contains Azithromycin (250 mg), which works in the following manner:

• Bacterial Protein Synthesis Inhibition: Azithromycin binds reversibly to the 23S rRNA of the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome. This action interferes with bacterial protein synthesis by halting a process known as the transpeptidation/translocation step and subsequent amino acid chain elongation. Simply put, it disrupts the growth of bacteria, helping to eliminate the infection.

• High Bioavailability: Azithromycin has a bioavailability of around 37%, which means it can effectively reach the site of infection in your body.

• Keep Azibact 250 Tablet in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.

• Shield it from exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store it in a way that's inaccessible to children.

• Always check the expiry date before use and discard if the medicine is past its expiry date.

• If you're taking Azibact 250 Tablet for respiratory infections like sinusitis or pneumonia, increase your fluid intake. It helps thin out mucus and eases breathing.

• When managing skin infections, maintain good hygiene habits such as regular hand washing. Avoid scratching affected areas to prevent further infection.
