Azax-250 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin and eyes. It is also used to treat typhoid fever and certain sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhoea.
It contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that works against many types of bacteria. Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Complete the full course even if you feel better after a few days, to help clear the infection fully and reduce the risk of bacterial resistance.
Getting adequate rest, staying well hydrated, and eating nutritious meals can help support your body's recovery while you are on antibiotic treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any known drug allergies, liver problems, or other medicines you are taking. Contact your doctor promptly if you notice a skin rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or blood in your stools.
