ATR AP 10/150 CAPSULE 15 is used for the following:

• Prevention of heart attacks in high-risk patients

• Management of unstable angina

• Prevention of stroke

• Reduction of cardiovascular events

• Management of peripheral arterial disease

• Lowering elevated total cholesterol levels

• Reducing LDL cholesterol in hyperlipidemia

• Managing mixed dyslipidemia

• Lowering triglyceride levels

• Raising HDL cholesterol levels

• Secondary prevention after myocardial infarction

• Supporting patients with multiple heart disease risk factors

Follow these instructions while taking ATR AP 10/150 CAPSULE 15:

• Take this capsule daily, as advised by your doctor.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or open the capsule.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day to help you remember.

• Continue taking it regularly for best results.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

ATR AP 10/150 CAPSULE 15 is taken orally.

ATR AP 10/150 CAPSULE 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to protect your heart and blood vessels.

• Aspirin (150 mg): Acts as an antiplatelet agent by irreversibly inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1). This prevents the production of thromboxane A2, a substance that causes platelets in your blood to stick together and form clots.

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): Functions as a competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, which is the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol production. By blocking this enzyme, it reduces the amount of cholesterol your body makes, particularly lowering levels of LDL (low-density lipoprotein) or "bad" cholesterol.

• Store ATR AP 10/150 CAPSULE 15 in a cool, dry place at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.

• Store in the original packaging to protect from light and humidity.

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fats and cholesterol to help manage your cardiovascular risk. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
