Alfuzosin (10 Mg)

Alfunol 10 Tablet 10 is used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) in men. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing alfuzosin, and belongs to a class of medicines called alpha-1 blockers.

This medicine works by blocking alpha-1 receptors in the smooth muscles of the prostate, bladder neck and urethra, which relaxes these muscles, reduces pressure on the urethra and allows urine to flow more easily. This improves urine flow and eases urinary symptoms.

Tell your doctor about any allergies to alfuzosin or other alpha-blockers, and about any other medicines you are taking, before starting this medicine. This medicine may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, particularly when standing up. This medicine is not indicated for use in women.
