Flotral 10 Tablet is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate. It contains Alfuzosin, which relaxes the muscles in the bladder neck and prostate. This relaxation helps ease symptoms like difficulty and pain while urinating, weak urine flow, frequent or urgent need to urinate, especially at night, and helps improve bladder emptying for better comfort.

To use Flotral 10 Tablet correctly:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Make sure to take it at the same time each day for consistent results.
• Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

Remember that this medicine should always be taken after food.

Flotral 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Flotral 10 Tablet contains alfuzosin (10 mg) and works on your body in the following ways:

• Alpha1 Receptor Antagonism: Alfuzosin functions by selectively inhibiting alpha1 receptors located in the smooth muscles of your prostate, bladder neck and urethra.
• Muscle Relaxation: By blocking these receptors, alfuzosin successfully relaxes these muscles which reduces pressure on the urethra.

• Store the Flotral 10 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Make sure you use the tablet before its expiration date.

• Engage in regular physical activity like walking or yoga to promote overall health, which can indirectly support your urinary system's function.
• Limit your fluid intake in the evening to reduce nighttime urination (nocturia), a common symptom associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
