Acloveer 400 Tablet 10 is used to treat infections caused by the herpes virus.

Uses of Acloveer 400 Tablet 10 are:

• Herpes Simplex Infections: Speeds healing of herpes simplex virus infections, including genital herpes.
• Cold Sores: Accelerates recovery and helps prevent recurrence of cold sores (herpes labialis).
• Shingles: Reduces the intensity and duration of shingles (herpes zoster).
• Chickenpox: Helps manage chickenpox caused by the varicella-zoster virus.

• Consume this medicine orally with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole.
• Do not chew, break, or crush it.

Acloveer 400 Tablet 10 contains aciclovir (400 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Ceasing viral replication: Once converted into its active form within virus-infected cells, aciclovir triphosphate competitively inhibits and inactivates the viral DNA polymerase enzyme. This action halts further viral DNA synthesis without affecting normal cellular processes.
