AB-Flo SR Tablet is used to manage chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD and bronchitis. It helps open the airways and ease tightness in the chest, making it easier to breathe during episodes of wheezing and congestion.
This is a sustained-release tablet, so take it as prescribed, generally with food, and swallow it whole without crushing or chewing it, as this allows the medicine to be released gradually through the day. Continue taking it regularly, even between flare-ups, for ongoing symptom control.
Avoiding known triggers such as smoke, dust and strong fumes, along with practising breathing exercises and keeping indoor air well ventilated, can help reduce the frequency of flare-ups alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart, liver, kidney or thyroid problems, or a history of seizures. This medicine should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Seek urgent medical help if your breathing suddenly worsens.
