8X-KT Shampoo is used to treat dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. It controls the flaking, itching, and redness associated with these conditions by reducing the growth of yeast-like fungi that cause scalp irritation. Regular use helps to improve scalp health and prevents the recurrence of dandruff, ensuring a healthier and more comfortable scalp.

Follow these instructions while using 8X-KT Shampoo:

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly before application.

• Apply a sufficient quantity of shampoo to your wet hair and gently massage to create a lather.

• Leave the lather on for 3-5 minutes.

• Rinse off thoroughly with water.

• Use twice weekly for 2-4 weeks or as your doctor directs.

8X-KT Shampoo is applied topically.

8X-KT Shampoo contains two active ingredients that work in synergy:

• Ketoconazole (2% w/v): This component acts as a broad-spectrum antifungal agent. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This action disrupts the structure of these membranes leading to leakage of cellular contents and thus helps in controlling the growth of fungi.

• Zinc Pyrithione (1% w/v): This compound has both antifungal and antibacterial properties. It disrupts membrane transport processes within fungal cells and inhibits their division which helps to control fungal growth on the scalp. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory properties help in managing symptoms associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

• Store 8X-KT Shampoo at below 30°C.

• Always keep it in a tightly closed container.
