Ketomaster Shampoo is used for managing the following conditions:

• Dandruff, a common scalp condition marked by flaking and occasional itching.

• Seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, a more severe form of dandruff that causes redness, irritation and flaky, scaly skin.

• Pityriasis versicolor, a fungal infection that causes small patches of skin to become scaly and discoloured.

To effectively use Ketomaster Shampoo, follow these steps:

• Before using the shampoo, shake the bottle well.

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with water.

• Apply enough shampoo to produce sufficient lather.

• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp.

• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

• Repeat the procedure for an additional 3 minutes.

• Rinse again with warm water and dry your hair.

• If any shampoo gets in your eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly with water. Consult your doctor if irritation persists.

Ketomaster Shampoo is applied topically

Ketomaster Shampoo contains two active ingredients:

• Ketoconazole (2%): This antifungal ingredient works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes. The result is an increase in fungal membrane permeability, which causes leakage of cellular contents and, ultimately, fungal cell death. This action helps reduce Malassezia populations on the scalp, which are responsible for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

• Zinc Pyrithione (1%): This ingredient has antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It works by inhibiting the division and growth of fungi and bacteria. This action helps control itching and flaking associated with dandruff. It also provides local analgesic effects which help relieve redness and itching associated with dandruff.

• Store Ketomaster Shampoo at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Protect the shampoo from direct sunlight.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Keep this product out of reach of children.
