Vilor F 100 Capsule is used to provide regular, long-term maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. It is a combination medicine containing fluticasone furoate (an inhaled corticosteroid) and vilanterol (a long-acting bronchodilator).
It reduces airway inflammation and keeps the airways open. Inhale the contents of the capsule using the prescribed inhaler device and do not swallow the capsule. Use it regularly even when you feel well, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Rinse your mouth with water after each use, learn the correct inhaler technique, avoid smoking and known triggers, and follow any breathing exercise plan advised by your healthcare team.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, bone thinning, liver disease or an active infection and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. This is a maintenance medicine and is not for sudden breathing attacks; use your prescribed reliever medicine for those. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
