CompositionVildamac 50 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, helping to control blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are not enough. Good blood sugar control lowers the long-term risk of complications affecting the kidneys, eyes, nerves and heart.
It contains vildagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor. Take it as prescribed, with or without food. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as diabetes often has no symptoms, and do not stop the medicine without speaking to your doctor.
A balanced diet with controlled carbohydrate intake, regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight and routine blood sugar monitoring all support better control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, a history of pancreatitis, or are taking other medicines.
