Vigoquin Gel Eye Drops 5ml is used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis, helping to relieve redness, watering, itching and irritation. It may also be used to reduce inflammation and swelling in the eye in certain situations, such as after an eye procedure, when advised by your doctor.
It contains an antibiotic that works against a range of common eye bacteria. Wash your hands before use, and avoid letting the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface to prevent contamination. Use the drops for the full course advised by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve early.
Avoid wearing contact lenses while using this medicine unless your doctor says it is safe to do so, and wait at least fifteen minutes after using the drops before putting lenses back in. Keeping the eye area clean and avoiding rubbing your eyes can also help recovery.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to any eye medicine before, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if you notice worsening redness, pain, or vision changes.
