Brimosoft T Eye Drops 5ml are used for the following:

• Reducing high pressure in the eyes

• Managing open-angle glaucoma

Follow these instructions when using Brimosoft T Eye Drops 5ml:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before instilling the drops.

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket.

• Hold the bottle with the tip pointing down, without touching your eye or eyelid.

• Look up and away from the dropper, then squeeze one drop into the pocket.

• Close your eyes gently for 2-5 minutes while pressing the inner corner of your eye.

• Replace the cap immediately after use.

Brimosoft T Eye Drops 5ml are instilled topically.

Brimosoft T Eye Drops 5ml contains two active ingredients:

• Brimonidine (0.2%): This component is a selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that works in two ways in the eye. It reduces the production of aqueous humour (the clear fluid inside your eye) and also increases the outflow of this fluid through a route called the uveoscleral pathway. These actions help lower the pressure inside your eye.

• Timolol (0.5%): As a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, timolol reduces the production of aqueous humour in your eye. It blocks certain receptors in the eye tissue that are responsible for fluid production, resulting in less fluid being made and therefore lower eye pressure.

• Store Brimosoft T Eye Drops 5ml at room temperature.

• Protect the bottle from light.

• Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.

• Do not use if the solution appears cloudy or discoloured.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle.
