Ventryl LS Expectorant is used for the following:

• Easing productive cough associated with bronchitis

• Assisting in alleviating chest congestion

To take Ventryl LS Expectorant, follow these guidelines:

• Measure the required amount of syrup using a calibrated measuring spoon or cup.

• You can consume this medicine with or without food.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use if you have diabetes. If you're a diabetic, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

• Make sure to close the bottle tightly after each use.

Ventryl LS Expectorant comprises three active components:

• Levosalbutamol (0.5 mg): This component is a selective beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist which relaxes your bronchial smooth muscle and widens your airways for easier breathing. Compared to racemic salbutamol, levosalbutamol has fewer beta1-adrenergic side effects.

• Ambroxol (15 mg): This component acts as a mucolytic agent. It reduces the thickness of mucus secretions in your respiratory tract and facilitates their removal. By stimulating the movement of these secretions, ambroxol reduces mucus stagnation.
