Aziderm 10% Gel 15gm

Aziderm 10% Gel 15gm is used for managing the following conditions:

• Mild to moderate rosacea (inflammatory papules and pustules)
• Reduction of skin inflammation and irritation associated with rosacea

Use Aziderm 10% Gel 15gm in the following way:

• Clean and dry the affected skin area before application
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area
• Gently massage until fully absorbed
• Use as directed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily
• Wash hands after application unless the hands are the treated area

Aziderm 10% Gel 15gm is applied topically.

Aziderm 10% Gel 15gm contains azelaic acid (10%), which works in the following way:

• Azelaic acid works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria on the skin that contribute to inflammation and lesions. It also reduces inflammation by decreasing the production of reactive oxygen species, thereby helping to calm redness and swelling. Additionally, it normalises keratinisation, promoting proper shedding of dead skin cells and preventing blockage of pores.

• Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Ensure the tube is tightly closed.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, and very hot beverages.
• Use mild, soap-free cleansers for facial care.
• Protect skin from excessive sun exposure.
• Avoid occlusive dressings on treated areas.
• Maintain a consistent skincare routine with gentle products.
• Use sunscreen regularly, as treated skin may be more sensitive to sunlight.
