Valtan 80 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Valtan 80 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, as described by your doctor.

• Take it at the same time each day for the best results.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

• If you have any concerns about using this medicine, consult your doctor.

Valtan 80 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Valtan 80 Tablet 10 contains Valsartan (80 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Angiotensin II receptor blockade: Valsartan prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to its receptors in your body. This hormone normally causes blood vessels to narrow, which increases blood pressure.

• Blood vessel relaxation: By blocking angiotensin II receptors, valsartan helps your blood vessels relax and widen, making it easier for blood to flow through them.

• Blood pressure reduction: The relaxation of blood vessels leads to a decrease in blood pressure, reducing the workload on your heart.

• Cardiac workload improvement: By lowering blood pressure and blocking the harmful effects of angiotensin II, valsartan helps reduce strain on your heart, which is particularly beneficial after a heart attack or in heart failure.

• Store Valtan 80 Tablet 10 at room temperature not exceeding 25°C.

• Maintain a heart-healthy exercise routine of at least 30 minutes of moderate activity to improve cardiovascular health and help lower blood pressure.
