It contains tamsulosin (0.4 mg) in a prolonged-release formulation. Take it orally after a meal as prescribed. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not chew, open, or crush it to maintain its modified-release properties.
Modifying daily habits, such as reducing evening fluid intake and avoiding bladder irritants like coffee and alcohol, helps improve urinary control.
Before starting, disclose to your doctor if you have severe kidney or liver impairment, low blood pressure, or are undergoing cataract surgery. Stand up slowly from sitting or lying positions to prevent postural dizziness.
