Triglimiprex 1 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus by controlling high blood sugar levels in adults. It supports diet and exercise regimens, improving blood sugar control when these alone aren't sufficient. It is also used in combined therapy when monotherapy with a single antidiabetic agent doesn't provide adequate control of blood sugar levels.

Follow these instructions while taking Triglimiprex 1 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet, as it can alter the effect of the medicine.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Remember, it's critical not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Triglimiprex 1 Tablet is taken orally.

Triglimiprex 1 Tablet works through the combined actions of its three active ingredients.

• Glimepiride (1 mg): This ingredient is a sulfonylurea-class medication. It encourages the pancreas to secrete more insulin, which in turn lowers blood glucose levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin is part of the biguanide class of medications. It reduces the production of glucose in the liver, decreases the absorption of glucose in the intestine, and improves insulin sensitivity. These actions collectively help to lower blood sugar levels.

• Pioglitazone (15 mg): Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione. It enhances the sensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin, meaning it helps cells to use insulin more effectively.

• Keep Triglimiprex 1 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 15°C and 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always ensure this medicine is out of the reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before taking the medicine; do not use it past this date.

• Maintain a balanced diet with a focus on foods that have a low glycaemic index such as whole grains, legumes, and vegetables. These foods help manage blood sugar levels effectively.
