Tiare Kit Tablet 21 is used for the following:

• Prevention of blood clots after heart attack

• Reducing risk of stroke in coronary syndrome

• Managing acute coronary syndrome

• Prevention of cardiovascular death

• Treating unstable angina

• Reducing risk of heart attack recurrence

• Managing ST elevation myocardial infarction

• Supporting recovery after coronary interventions

• Prevention of atherothrombotic events

• Long-term heart protection after previous heart attack

Follow these instructions while taking Tiare Kit Tablet 21:

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take it at the same times each day to maintain consistent levels in your bloodstream.

• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor has prescribed.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Tiare Kit Tablet 21 is taken orally.

Tiare Kit Tablet 21 contains two active ingredients that work together to prevent blood clots:

• Ticagrelor (90 mg): Functions as a P2Y12 receptor antagonist that reversibly blocks adenosine diphosphate (ADP) from activating platelets. This provides faster and more consistent inhibition of platelet activity compared to similar medicines, helping prevent dangerous blood clots from forming.

• Aspirin (75 mg): As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, it irreversibly blocks an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX). This action prevents the formation of thromboxane A2, a substance that helps platelets stick together, thus reducing platelet activation and aggregation.

• Store Tiare Kit Tablet 21 at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original container, tightly closed to protect from moisture.

• Avoid exposure to excessive heat, light, or humidity.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Heart-healthy diet: Choose foods low in saturated fats and rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support cardiovascular health and complement the antiplatelet action of Tiare Kit Tablet 21.

• Regular physical activity: Engage in moderate exercise (such as brisk walking) for at least 30 minutes most days, after consulting your doctor, to improve heart health and circulation.
