Texakind Injection is used to control or prevent heavy bleeding, such as during and after surgery and dental procedures, in heavy menstrual bleeding, and in certain bleeding disorders. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing tranexamic acid, and belongs to a class of medicines called antifibrinolytics.
This injection helps the blood clot by slowing the breakdown of blood clots, which reduces bleeding. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse, who sets the dose.
Resting after the procedure and avoiding strenuous activity can support your recovery alongside this treatment.
Tell your doctor about any history of blood clots, or kidney or eye problems, before use. Do not stop this treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
