Composition

Amlodipine (2.5 Mg) + Atenolol (25 Mg)

Tenolol-AM 25 Tablet is primarily used to manage hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure. This medicine is a combination medicine, that falls into the categories of calcium channel blockers and beta-blockers.

In addition to its main use, this medicine is also used to manage angina pectoris, a condition characterised by chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart.

Tenolol-AM 25 Tablet is used for the following:

Managing high blood pressure
Reducing chest pain caused by angina pectoris

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
You can take this medicine with or without food.
Don't chew or crush the tablet.

Tenolol-AM 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Taking Tenolol-AM 25 Tablet may cause the following side effects:

Fatigue
Dizziness
Headache
Bradycardia: This is a medical term for a slower-than-normal heart rate.
Hypotension: This means low blood pressure, which could make you feel faint or dizzy.
Peripheral oedema: This refers to swelling in your hands, ankles, and feet.
Gastrointestinal disturbances: These can include symptoms like nausea or diarrhoea.
