Telmikind-40 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and heart failure. It relaxes blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes, and helps preserve kidney function, particularly in patients with diabetes.

Telmikind-40 Tablet contains Telmisartan (40 mg), which impacts the body in the following ways:

• Blocks Angiotensin II: Telmisartan blocks a hormone called angiotensin II from attaching to its receptors in your body. This hormone usually causes your blood vessels to narrow and raise your blood pressure.
• Relaxes Blood Vessels: By preventing angiotensin II from binding to its receptors, Telmisartan effectively relaxes and widens your blood vessels. This allows blood to flow through them more easily, thus lowering your blood pressure.
• Reduces Workload on Heart: As the relaxed and widened vessels facilitate smoother blood flow, the heart does not have to work as hard to pump blood around the body. This reduces strain on the heart and helps manage conditions such as heart failure.
