Telmikind 40 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. Telmikind-40 Tablet contains Telmisartan (40 mg), which impacts the body in the following ways:

• Blocks Angiotensin II: Telmisartan blocks a hormone called angiotensin II from attaching to its receptors in your body. This hormone usually causes your blood vessels to narrow and raise your blood pressure.
• Relaxes Blood Vessels: By preventing angiotensin II from binding to its receptors, Telmisartan effectively relaxes and widens your blood vessels. This allows blood to flow through them more easily, thus lowering your blood pressure.
