CompositionMacsart AM Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, and Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, to relax blood vessels and promote smoother blood flow. This action helps maintain healthy pressure levels and lowers the risk of heart attack or stroke.
This medication is also used for angina pectoris (chest pain due to insufficient oxygen supply). Reducing blood pressure can also lower the chances of a heart attack or stroke.
Before using the Macsart AM Tablet, you must inform your doctor about any heart, liver, or kidney issues. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypotension, or if you're dealing with severe dehydration due to excessive vomiting or diarrhoea.
