Macsart Am Tablet 10

Macsart AM Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, treat angina pectoris (chest pain), and reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. It combines two medications to help regulate blood pressure and protect cardiovascular health.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

The Macsart AM Tablet is taken orally. 

The Macsart AM Tablet contains the following components: 

• Amlodipine (5 mg): It is a calcium channel blocker. It works by inhibiting calcium from entering specific cells in the blood vessel walls. This action prevents the vessels from constricting or narrowing, leading to relaxation of blood vessels.
• Telmisartan (40 mg): It is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It interferes with an angiotensin II hormone, which usually narrows blood vessels. By blocking its effects, Telmisartan allows blood vessels to stay wider.

The storage instructions for Macsart AM Tablet are as follows:

• Macsart AM Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat veggies, fruits, whole grains, legumes, omega-3 foods, and lean proteins for a healthy diet.
• Aim for a BMI between 19.5 and 24.9 to keep your weight in check.
• Chronic stress can raise blood pressure; manage it by spending time with loved ones and practising mindfulness.
• Limit daily salt to 2,300 mg or less.
• Cut back on alcohol consumption.
• Quitting smoking is the best way to reduce heart disease risk.
