Cresar Am Tablet 15

Cresar AM Tablet is used in the long-term management of high blood pressure and angina, and to protect kidney function in adults with diabetes and hypertension.

Uses of Cresar AM Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Angina: Relieves chest pain caused by reduced blood supply to the heart.
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect kidney function in people with both diabetes and high blood pressure.

• Take #sku_name# exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• You can take it with or without food, at the same time each day.
• Swallow it whole. Do not chew or crush it.
• Keep taking it every day, even if you feel well. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

#sku_name# is taken by mouth (orally).

#sku_name# contains two medicines, Amlodipine (5 mg) and Telmisartan (40 mg), which work in different ways:

• Amlodipine relaxes and widens the blood vessels, so blood flows more easily.
• Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a natural substance that narrows blood vessels, helping them stay relaxed.

Together, they relax the blood vessels and make it easier for the heart to pump, which lowers blood pressure and helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

• Store #sku_name# below 30°C, in its original packaging.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack, and dispose of any unused or expired medicine as advised by your pharmacist.

• Eat a balanced diet that is low in salt and saturated fats and includes plenty of fruit, vegetables and whole grains.
• Limit salt, salty packaged foods and saturated fats.
• Keep to a healthy weight and stay active.
• Do not smoke, and limit alcohol.
• Manage stress with relaxation, such as meditation or yoga, and monitor your blood pressure regularly.

These are general suggestions. Your doctor or dietitian can give advice suited to your needs.

• Continue taking #sku_name# regularly, even if you feel well, as high blood pressure may not cause noticeable symptoms.
• Take it at the same time each day to help you remember.
• If you experience dizziness, rise slowly from a sitting or lying position, especially during the initial days of treatment.
• Attend any blood tests recommended by your doctor to monitor kidney function and potassium levels.
