Telmiduce AM Tablet is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when treatment with a single medicine is not sufficient. It helps lower blood pressure, which reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems.
It contains telmisartan and amlodipine, which belong to the classes of angiotensin receptor blockers and calcium channel blockers, respectively. Take it as prescribed with or without food, preferably at the same time each day for steady control. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.
Healthy lifestyle changes form an important part of managing high blood pressure. These include regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, reducing salt in your diet, limiting alcohol intake, and avoiding smoking as advised by your doctor.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, high potassium levels, or heart failure, or if you are taking other medicines. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may check your kidney function and electrolyte levels at regular intervals.
