Amlodipine (5 mg): This component is a calcium channel blocker. It functions by relaxing and widening your blood vessels, reducing the resistance against which your heart has to pump blood.
Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): Classified as a thiazide-like diuretic, chlorthalidone works by increasing urine output, in turn reducing blood volume and pressure. It achieves this by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in your kidneys.
Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin II receptor blocker, telmisartan relaxes your blood vessels and decreases blood volume. Pregnancy
