AZTEL TRIO 6.25 TABLET 15 is used for the following:

• Controlling high blood pressure

• Reducing risk of stroke

• Preventing heart attacks

• Lowering risk of kidney problems

• Treating resistant hypertension

• Helping patients with multiple cardiovascular risk factors

• Supporting blood pressure management in diabetic patients

• Reducing workload on the heart

Follow these instructions while taking AZTEL TRIO 6.25 TABLET 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

AZTEL TRIO 6.25 TABLET 15 is taken orally.

AZTEL TRIO 6.25 TABLET 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Acts as an angiotensin II receptor antagonist that blocks the action of a substance called angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow and tighten. By blocking this effect, telmisartan helps blood vessels relax and widen, lowering blood pressure.

• Amlodipine (5 mg): Functions as a calcium channel blocker that prevents calcium from entering the cells of heart and blood vessel walls. This action helps relax and widen blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them, thus reducing blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): Works as a thiazide diuretic or "water pill" that increases the amount of urine produced by the kidneys. This helps remove excess water and salt from your body, reducing blood volume and consequently lowering blood pressure.

• Store AZTEL TRIO 6.25 TABLET 15 at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture in its original packaging.

• Do not remove tablets from the blister pack until ready to use.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Maintain a low-salt diet by avoiding processed foods, canned soups, and salty snacks to help manage your high blood pressure (hypertension) more effectively alongside your medicine.

• Engage in regular moderate physical activity, like brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, which helps lower blood pressure naturally and improves how well your medicine works.
