Take it with food, swallow it whole, and complete the full course prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better. It may turn your urine dark yellow or brown, which is harmless.
Drinking enough water through the day and passing urine regularly rather than holding it helps keep the urinary tract clear of bacteria.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have poor kidney function or are in the last weeks of pregnancy. Antibiotics treat only bacterial infections, and taking them when not needed can lead to antibiotic resistance. Report a new cough, breathlessness, or numbness or tingling in the hands or feet to your doctor promptly.
