Nitrofurantoin (100 Mg)

Rezfuran 100 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). It is a single-ingredient medicine containing nitrofurantoin, which kills the bacteria causing the infection.

Rezfuran 100 Tablet is used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections in adults, clearing bacteria from the urinary tract and easing burning and frequent urination.

Uses of Rezfuran 100 Tablet are:

Urinary Tract Infections: Treats bladder and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
UTI Prevention: Helps prevent recurrent urinary tract infections.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water or milk to ease absorption and minimise stomach upset
Refrain from crushing or chewing the tablet.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage without consulting your doctor.

Rezfuran Tablet 14 is taken orally.

Rezfuran 100 Tablet may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.

A few common side effects of Rezfuran 100 Tablet:

Digestive: Nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite.
Neurological: Headache.
Urine: Dark yellow or brown urine.
Nerves: Tingling or numbness in the hands and feet with prolonged use; report this to your doctor.
