Smulac Solution 100ml

Smulac Solution is used for relieving constipation and promoting regular bowel movements. This osmotic laxative works by drawing water into the colon, increasing stool water content, and easing passage. In liver-compromised patients, it helps manage confusion, tremors, and sleep disturbances by lowering systemic ammonia. Taken orally with or without food, Smulac Solution can be measured precisely using the supplied dosing cup. 

• Lactulose (10,000 mg): Lactulose helps manage constipation by drawing water into the large intestine through osmosis. This increases stool hydration and softness, making bowel movements more comfortable. Hepatic encephalopathy helps manage elevated blood ammonia by promoting its excretion through the colon.
   
• Other Ingredients: Purified water, Sodium benzoate, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben.

• Eases Constipation: Smulac Solution may help manage hard or irregular stools by increasing water retention in the colon, thereby promoting easier bowel movements.

• Shake the bottle well. 
• Measure the prescribed dose with the supplied cup and swallow orally, with or without food. 
• If desired, mix with water or fruit juice. 
• Use once daily or as directed by your doctor.
