Silodal 4 Capsule is used in adult men to ease the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and improve bladder function.

• Enlarged Prostate (BPH): Relaxes the muscles around the prostate and bladder neck to ease urinary symptoms.
• Urine Flow: Improves a weak or slow urine stream and helps achieve more complete bladder emptying.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or opening it.

• It's best to take this medicine with food, as it helps in better absorption.

Silodal 4 Capsule is taken orally.

Silodal 4 Capsule contains silodosin (4 mg), which acts on the body through the following mechanisms:

• Alpha-1 Adrenergic Receptor Blocker: Silodosin works by selectively blocking alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in the body. These receptors are mainly located around the bladder neck, urethra, and prostate gland.

• Relaxation of Smooth Muscles: By blocking these receptors, silodosin causes relaxation of the smooth muscles surrounding these areas. This helps in improving the flow of urine and relieving urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate pressing on the urethra.

• Store your Silodal 4 Capsule at room temperature, specifically below 30°C.

• Protect it from light and moisture by keeping it in a tightly closed container.

• Safely tuck it away, out of reach from children and pets.

• Use the medicine before the expiry date mentioned on the package.

• Limit your fluid intake, particularly before bedtime. This can reduce frequent urination and waking up at night to urinate, which are common symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition managed by Silodal 4 Capsule.
