CompositionSilofast 4mg Capsule is used to relieve the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men, including difficulty starting urination, a weak urine stream, frequent urination, particularly at night, and a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying.
It contains silodosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow. Take it as prescribed, usually with food as prescribed, and swallow the capsule whole.
Keeping to your follow-up appointments and getting up slowly from sitting or lying down, especially in the first few days of treatment, support safe use of this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any planned eye surgery (cataract or glaucoma) before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report marked dizziness when standing, or an absence of ejaculation during orgasm, which can occur with this medicine.
