CompositionSgltd S 10/100 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes. It is a combination antidiabetic medicine containing dapagliflozin (an SGLT2 inhibitor) and sitagliptin (a DPP-4 inhibitor).
This medicine helps control high blood sugar in adults when diet and exercise alone are not enough, and helps manage both fasting and after-meal (post-meal) blood glucose levels. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when you feel well.
Eat regular balanced meals, limit sweets, sugary drinks and maida-based foods, stay physically active and drink enough water to avoid dehydration.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, frequent urinary or genital infections, or a history of pancreatitis, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report persistent vomiting, severe stomach pain or fast breathing promptly. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
