Sgltd S 10/100 Tablet 10 is a dual-combination medicine used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus by controlling blood sugar levels, combining a SGLT2 inhibitor (which increases glucose excretion through urine) and a DPP-4 inhibitor (which improves insulin secretion and reduces glucose production by the liver) to maintain effective blood sugar control alongside diet and exercise.

Sgltd S 10/100 Tablet 10 should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
The medicine can be taken with or without food, but try to take it the same way every time.

Sitagliptin (100 mg): As a DPP-4 inhibitor, sitagliptin inhibits certain hormones, stimulating the pancreas to produce more insulin when blood glucose levels are high. It also decreases the production of glucagon by the pancreas, reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver.

Pregnancy

One of the active ingredients in Sgltd S 10/100 Tablet 10, dapagliflozin, is contraindicated during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, proceed with caution and consult your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding
