Rivaronol 15 MG Tablet 14 is used to prevent stroke and systemic embolism in adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, for the management of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), prevention of their recurrence, and for preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery.

• Inhibition of Factor Xa: Rivaroxaban selectively blocks the active site of factor Xa, an enzyme that plays a key role in forming blood clots.
• Reduction of Thrombin Formation: By inhibiting the activity of factor Xa, Rivaronol 15 MG Tablet 14 effectively decreases the creation of thrombin, a substance involved in clotting.
• Prolongation of Clotting Time: Rivaroxaban's action on factor Xa extends the time it takes for blood to clot, thus reducing the risk of clot development.
• Independent Activity: Rivaroxaban does not require the presence of a cofactor, such as Anti-thrombin III, to exert its effect. This makes it a direct inhibitor of factor Xa.
