Rid AR Kid Syrup 30ml is used in children to manage seasonal allergies and bronchial asthma associated with allergies, reducing symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, coughing and throat irritation.

Rid Ar Kid Syrup 30ml contains two active ingredients:

Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This ingredient works as a selective H1-receptor antagonist. What this means is that it blocks histamine activity. Histamines are chemicals that trigger allergy symptoms. By blocking their activity, levocetirizine helps reduce these symptoms.

Montelukast (4 mg): This ingredient is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by inhibiting a specific receptor called CysLT1 receptor in our body. Leukotrienes are substances our body releases when we breathe in an allergen such as pollen. They cause swelling and inflammation in your lungs and tightening of the muscles around your airways which can result in asthma symptoms. By blocking these receptors, montelukast helps prevent these symptoms.
