Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of resistant hypertension

• Reduction of stroke risk in hypertensive patients

• Control of blood pressure in elderly patients

• Prevention of hypertension-related complications

• Management of certain heart conditions

• Regulation of fluid balance in hypertensive patients

• Support for patients not responding to single medicines

• Blood pressure control in patients with kidney concerns

Follow these instructions while taking Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 :

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet as this may affect its extended-release properties.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well unless your doctor advises otherwise.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about how to take this medicine.

Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Metoprolol succinate (25 mg): This selective beta-1 receptor blocker works by blocking the action of certain natural substances like epinephrine (adrenaline) on your heart and blood vessels. This action results in a slower heartbeat and relaxation of blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow and decreasing blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This component is a thiazide diuretic that increases urine production by helping the kidneys eliminate excess salt (sodium) and water from the body. This process decreases blood volume, which subsequently lowers blood pressure.

• Store Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep the medicine in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Do not store it in the bathroom.

• Keep Revelol 25 H Tablet 10 out of reach of children and pets.

• Check the expiry date and do not use the medicine after this date.

• Reduce your salt intake, as high sodium consumption can worsen high blood pressure (hypertension). Try using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavour your food.

• Maintain regular physical activity appropriate for your age and ability, such as gentle walking for 20-30 minutes daily, which helps lower blood pressure naturally.
