Reclide 40 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults, keeping blood sugar within a healthy range and helping lower the long-term risk of eye, nerve, kidney and heart problems.
It contains gliclazide, a sulfonylurea. It works by helping the pancreas release more insulin.
Take it with or just before a meal as prescribed, and do not skip meals, as this can cause low blood sugar. Carry a fast-acting sugar source.
Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before use. Learn to recognise the signs of low blood sugar, such as dizziness, sweating or shakiness, and how to treat them.
