It contains gliclazide, a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin release from the pancreas, lowering blood sugar and helping prevent complications like heart disease, kidney damage, and nerve issues. 

Follow these instructions while taking Glychek 40 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day for consistent blood glucose control.

• Do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Glychek 40 Tablet 15 contains gliclazide (40 mg), which acts in your body as follows:

• Stimulates Insulin Secretion: Gliclazide acts on specific cells in your pancreas (beta cells) to promote insulin production. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body regulate blood sugar levels.

• Blocks ATP-sensitive Potassium Channels: Gliclazide binds to these channels on the surface of your pancreatic beta cells, leading to cell membrane depolarisation and an influx of calcium. This, in turn, triggers the release of more insulin.
