Peroduo Gel is used to treat acne vulgaris. It helps clear blocked pores, control acne-causing bacteria, reduce redness and swelling, and prevent new breakouts, leading to smoother and clearer skin with regular use.

Follow these instructions while using Peroduo Gel:

• Ensure your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin film of the gel daily in the evening.

• Focus on covering affected areas on your face or trunk. A pea-sized amount is usually sufficient for each area.

• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes during application.

• After applying the gel, make sure to wash your hands.

• Moisturisers can be used if necessary to manage skin dryness or irritation. Always consult your doctor for further advice.

Peroduo Gel is applied topically.

Peroduo Gel contains two active ingredients that work together to effectively manage acne:

• Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%): An oxidising agent, benzoyl peroxide works by killing P. acnes, the bacteria that causes acne. It also helps shed the outer layer of skin which further helps unclog pores.

• Adapalene (0.1%): This synthetic retinoid binds to certain receptors in your skin cells that control how they grow and develop. By doing so, adapalene helps to regulate skin cell turnover and unblock pores. It also reduces inflammation which aids in controlling acne.

The combined activity of these two ingredients targets multiple factors involved in acne such as abnormal keratinisation, inflammation, and bacterial proliferation - resulting in a reduction of acne lesions.

• Store Peroduo Gel at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it in the original container, tightly closed.

• Ensure the gel is not exposed to light, heat or moisture.

• Always store this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Maintain a clean and hygienic lifestyle, especially regarding your skin. Regularly cleanse your face with a mild face wash to prevent dirt and oil accumulation, which can lead to acne.

• Consume a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Avoid foods high in sugar and fat, as they may promote inflammation and increase the risk of skin problems like acne.
