Epiduo Gel is used to treat acne by reducing inflammation, unclogging pores, and preventing the growth of acne-causing bacteria. It combines adapalene, a retinoid, and benzoyl peroxide, an antimicrobial agent, to manage mild to moderate acne and promote clearer skin. The gel helps unclog pores, reducing the likelihood of acne formation, and controls excess oil on the skin, preventing acne breakouts.

Follow these instructions while using Epiduo Gel:

• Clean your face and other affected areas gently with a non-medicated cleaner. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
• Apply a thin layer of the gel to acne-prone areas like the forehead, cheeks, chin, and back.
• Avoid contact with your eyes, lips, nose angles, and mucous membranes. Remember to wash your hands after applying the gel.
• Limit your skin exposure to sunlight and UV lamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing during the day.

Epiduo Gel comprises two active ingredients:

• Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%): This ingredient has bactericidal properties, meaning it kills bacteria – specifically P. acnes bacteria that contribute to acne formation. Additionally, as a keratolytic agent, benzoyl peroxide promotes the exfoliation of dead skin cells helping keep pores clear.
